that Charles Darwin became a Christian late in
his life.
¥According to the story, a Christian English woman, Lady Hope, visited
Darwin and found him reading his Bible
enthusiastically.
¥When asked about his theory of evolution, Darwin is reported to have
said these were his unformed ideas as a young
man and that people had made a religion out of
them.
